My story
Galore is an all age jewelry label, founded by me, Chrissie, in 2020, inspired by my babydaughter and the lack of cool jewelry for her. When she was born I really wanted a beautiful, simple piece of jewelry for her to wear, and for me to keep forever, yet I didn’t find much more than ladybug charm bracelets and name plates written in comic sans. Three years later I stopped working for a large jewelry company to finally put a stop to this madness and started this new project. Jewelry for all!
What makes a piece of jewelry better than it already is? For me that’s personal meaning. This makes me want to wear or keep the piece for the rest of my life and maybe even pass it on. To be gifted a piece of jewelry that would connect you to your child or grandchild or mom or friend or whomever, to me, would be the most meaningfull thing. Jewelry for all ages, to keep forever, that’s my dream to achieve with Galore.

Every piece is designed in Maastricht and handmade in Bali. And while doing this we want to affect our planet as little as possible. That is why we only use recycled materials for our jewelry as well as our packaging materials. Each of our pieces is made using 100% recycled and sustainably made .925 silver and 18K gold-plated vermeil. We maintain a rigorous process to ensure that each piece lasts a lifetime. Like coating our vermeil with 2.5 microns of 18K gold (instead of industry standard of 1.5 microns and 14K gold). Read more about how we aim to be as sustainable as possible here.
We also only use lab grown diamonds, handpicking, and lab-testing them to ensure ideal cut, color, and at least SI quality clarity. Read more about lab grown diamonds here.
